ABOUT "ALWAYS SOMETHING THERE TO REMIND ME"
We bring a 2021 acoustic cover of "(There's) Always Something There to Remind Me" written by two of the greatest songwriters of our time, Burt Bacharach and Hal David. The song was originally released in the 60s by Dionne Warwick, Lou Johnson, Sandie Shaw, and Naked Eyes in the 80's, and is now covered by Vocalist Sahara and Latin Guitarist, Manuel Molina.
VIDEO - In our continued journey to explore Art that inspires evolution of thought, culture, and future space explorations, we recreated the timeless work of Hal David and Burt Bacharach's, "Always Something There to Remind Me." With the emergence of Space travel in the near future, we worked to create a video that tells a story inspiring the viewer to think about Space, time, and their relationship to this earth with the cyclic nature of society rising and falling. It's reminiscent of lost love, and easier simpler times. The video loosely follows a child dreaming and living in the future, ready to go bravely into a new world, ready to reach and rebuild, to understand her place in the Universe.
SONG - In this cover arranged by Manuel Molina, Vocalist Sahara and Guitarist Manuel Molina, express and parallel the social isolation of 2020-21, during the Covid Quarantine and work to honor the lives lost during this time with this version of "Always Something There to Remind Me." They express beauty, isolation, and a haunting yet hopeful arrangement of acoustic guitar, percussion, and voice.
